KELLY LATU
CO-OWNER & SENIOR STYLIST
Welcome to Blaze! I’m Kelly, co-owner of the salon and proud mumma bear of this incredible team (alongside my partner in hair, Mana Dave).
You’ll usually find me busy on the floor with colour work or helping out the team. I’ve been in hair for a long time, and while I enjoy it all, I especially love crafting shorter shapes, variations of bobs, and working with curly hair.
Outside the salon, I’m in trackies and gumboots on our lifestyle block with my daughter Ava, tending to animals and making TikToks. If we haven’t met yet, come hang out. And don’t worry, I won’t cut off more than you want!
EDEN
CLIENT CARE MANAGER
Eden is the heart and soul of the Blaze experience. From your first call to the moment, you leave the salon with gorgeous hair, she’s here to make everything feel smooth and welcoming.
She’s the friendly voice on the phone, the smiling face when you walk in, and the one behind your favourite beverages, mags, and good vibes. Eden puts the love in #BlazeLovesU every time.

LOUISE
SENIOR STYLIST
I love working at Blaze – it’s always busy and full of energy. From the sound of the coffee machine to clients chatting with their stylists, it’s a vibe that suits me perfectly. I’m proudly Irish and have been with Blaze for over five years.
I specialise in blonde hair including cool ash tones, golden beachy vibes, or anything in between. For me, consultation is key. I always encourage clients to bring inspo pics so we can break them down together and get totally aligned before we start.
People say, “you’ll hear Louise before you see her!” – and that’s probably true. I love to talk, and I love making people feel good. When I’m not at the salon, you’ll find me walking or boxing to stay active and positive.
TOKO
COLORIST & EMERGING STYLIST
What I love about Blaze is the energy, the people, the clients, and the constant creativity. I was born and raised in Auckland and always knew I wanted a hands-on career that connects with fashion and people.
I’m Blaze’s keratin specialist and love a glossy, long-lasting blow-dry. My fashion influences include Walter Van Beirendonck, Karen Walker, and Stolen Girlfriends.
When I need a lift, I put on some disco or EDM and get going.
ELIZA
COLOURIST & EMERGING STYLIST
I’ve been playing with hair since I was a kid, copying looks from films and shows, so hair and fashion have always been my thing. I love meeting new clients, experimenting with fresh ideas, and creating colour that makes people feel amazing.
I’m really into textured cuts right now – think butterfly layers and soft waves. And I love showing clients how to style at home, especially with blowout brushes or flat iron waves.
Trend-wise, I’m loving the shift to warmer tones: coppers, golden browns, and rich reds are having a moment, and I’m here for it.
On my day off, I’m probably at brunch or reorganising my space for the hundredth time.
